Courtesy Visit Explores Opportunities to Expand Medical Services for Bangladeshi Patients in Thailand

On 23 June 2026, IMH Silom Hospital was honored to welcome Ms. Pojjana Paniangvait, Honorary Consul of the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Thailand, on the occasion of her courtesy visit to the Hospital's International Center.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for both parties to exchange perspectives on strengthening healthcare collaboration and enhancing access to high-quality medical services for Bangladeshi patients seeking treatment in Thailand. Discussions focused on future initiatives to facilitate medical referrals, improve patient support services, and promote Thailand as a trusted destination for international healthcare.

A key highlight of the meeting was the introduction of IMH SILOM International Hospital, the Group's flagship tertiary care hospital currently under development in Bangkok's prestigious Silom–Sathorn Central Business District (CBD). Scheduled to commence operations in the first quarter of 2027, the new hospital will offer comprehensive specialty and super-specialty medical services, with a strong focus on comprehensive cancer care, advanced medical technologies, and internationally recognized standards of patient care.
