• Pre-operative specialist consultations
• Pre-operative medical clearance by Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, or other speciaties
• Additional laboratory investigations not routinely required
• MRI, CT scan, Bone Scan or other advanced imaging studies
• Treatment of pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, heart disease, or other chronic illnesses
• Treatment of unexpected medical or surgical complications
• ICU admission
• Blood products and blood transfusion
• Additional medications not related to the standard procedure
• Special implants or premium prostheses beyond the package specification
• Revision surgery or additional surgical procedures
• Extended hospitalization beyond the package allowance
• Treatment of postoperative complications such as infection, dislocation, periprosthetic fractrue, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, or other complications
• Personal expenses, including telephone charges, special meals, upgraded room accommodation, and caregiver expenses
